Alan will be missed by so many. The best memories as a kid was going to visit turkey grandma and Alan every summer. We loved swimming in the pool and going on many trips to theme parks and zoos and even shopping! Those times will never be forgotten! Love always Kaley

Alan was one of my grandfathers on my mom's side. I remember going to Turkey Grandma and Alan's house when I was a kid for 2 weeks at a time during summer. We went when they lived in Texas and Virginia. We would go enjoy time with them, swim in their pool, play with their poodles, go to 6 flags, the zoo, etc. We always looked forward to our summer trip. He will be missed 💜 Mandy

I'm Alan's stepdaughter. He was a father to me and treated me like his daughter. So many memories. When he taught school he got me into that school for my nursing degree, we ride to work/school everyday for a year with our little lunches made by Mommy😂❤️. We had a great relationship. We all know what a great and caring person he was. I will miss him so much. He is now in heaven with Mommy and in peace. Will cherish the memories. Give Mommy a big hug for me♥️ Love you always Alan🩵R. I. P. 🩵

My deepest condolences go out to his family! Although I didn't know Al that well, I grew up with his daughter Beth and all the stories I heard about her dad showed how special he was. The few times I got to talk with him, he talked about his careers and how much he loved his work but mostly, his family. He was a very special man. My prayers go out to you all.
