Anita Gibson Weaver, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, at the age of 78 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Born on September 22, 1946, in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the cherished daughter of the late Steve and Joyce Gibson.

Anita dedicated her professional life to helping others as an Insurance Agent, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients throughout her career. Her kindness and gentle demeanor left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Randolph Weaver, whose memory she cherished deeply. Anita is survived by her devoted children, as well as extended family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Services to honor and celebrate Anita's life will be held at a later date.
