Obituary For Anne M. Sanges Hanifan
Anne M. Sanges Hanifan, born July 10, 1938, in Gloversville, NY, passed suddenly on October 8, 2026.
Anne brought a lot of love, joy, and laughter to her family. She was one who never passed up a good joke.
And while Anne will be terribly missed, we all take comfort in knowing she is now in the company of angels along with her late husband Jack T. Hanifan, Sr., her mother, father and other family and friends.
Left to carry on her loving memory are her two daughters Susan Survello, Kelly Webster and her husband Dale Webster, her son John T. Hanifan, Jr. and his fiancée Charlene Kilmartin. Plus, her four grandchildren Katie Survello, Olivia Hanifan, Raymond Webster, and Jena Brown.
We can now find peace and comfort in the knowledge that Anne is now walking among angels’ pain free.
Honoring her, ashes will be spread according to her wishes.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://www.alz.org.
Simply Cremation is assisting the family.

To the entire Hanifan family. Iam so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Sue and I went all through school together and talk about best friends. There is no other. The sacrifices the family made and the care they gave their mom was phenominal all while leading their own lives. I'll remember the sleep over at your house when we were all little kids at Mt Carmel and your mom and dad scaring us to death in the middle of the night. Those were times to remember, so keep those and your own good times close in your hearts. It's what gets us through what we have lost as we move forward! Luv u all. Mary Chapleau Hamm
