Antonio Abreu, born on March 17, 1938, in Santi Spiritu, Cuba, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, at the age of 87.

Antonio dedicated his life to his work as a landscaper, where he applied his skills and passion to beautify the surroundings of many. Throughout his career, he was known for his diligence and unwavering commitment to his craft.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elena de las Nieves Suarez and Francisco Abreu. Antonio is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria Valdes, and his son-in-law, Eliecer Galeano, who will cherish his memory and the time spent together.

A private service will be held at a later date to honor and remember the life of Antonio Abreu. His family and friends will hold him dearly in their hearts, remembering the warmth and strength he brought to those around him.
