Arcadio Valentin, born on January 12, 1937, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 88.

Arcadio devoted his professional life as a superintendent/property manager until his retirement. His commitment to the tenants and the community left an indelible mark on all who he encountered daily. The saying among the tenants was “If Mr. Valentin can’t fix it, nobody can!”

Arcadio’s favorite past time was fishing, playing dominoes, playing games on his Wii, and reading his Bible.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carmen Doris Valentin, who shared his life’s journey and supported his endeavors with unwavering love and dedication.

Arcadio is survived by his three sons, Luis Valentin, David Valentin, and Jose Valentin, who remember him as a loving father and mentor, imparting wisdom and strength throughout their lives.

At this time, no services have been scheduled to commemorate Arcadio's life. His family and friends are invited to honor his memory in a manner befitting his legacy, cherishing the moments shared and the enduring impact of his presence in their lives.
