Obituary For Arthur Riley Mullen, Jr.
Norfolk, VA - Arthur Riley Mullen, Jr., of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on January 15, 1963, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Arthur was a beloved son, partner, and friend whose life touched many.
Arthur pursued higher education, earning an Associate's Degree which paved the way for his work in retail. He dedicated much of his career to JoAnne's Fabric, where he was known for his integrity, dedication, and warm interactions with colleagues and customers alike.
He loved the beach, animals, and hanging out with friends and family.
Arthur is survived by his father, Arthur Riley Mullen Sr (Charlene), his loving mother Margaret Allison, brother, Bill Mullen (Sonda), his sister, Andrea Cochran, aunts and uncle, Ashley, Kelley and Bryan, nieces and nephews, Jacquelinn, Victoria, Lenea, Riley, Jasper (Adriana), Mauricio, Jaxon, Kaylee and Cody, and his devoted partner, Patrick Stewart. Arthur also leaves behind many dear family members and friends who will miss him profoundly.
