Obituary For Audrey Margaret Semelka

Audrey Margaret Semelka, 92, of Elizabeth City, NC, died Dec. 23, 2017.

Ms. Semelka was born in Deshler, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Otis & Myra Friddell of Toledo, Ohio. She was an active member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church in Chesapeake, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marciell, a brother, Harold and her husband, John Semelka.

Surviving are two sons David Harshbarger, (Katherine), Dunkirk, Ohio, Dan Allan Harshbarger, (Serena) Elizabeth City, NC. Sisters Marian Ridgway, LaRue, Ohio, Luella (Jack) Dunlap, Fort Pierce, Fla., Janet (Richard) Spohn, Maumee Ohio, brother Kenneth (Peggy) Friddell, Seattle, Wash, and 6 Grandchildren.

She worked as an operator with Ohio Bell and at The Republican Courier.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Deep Creek United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.

    AUDREY WAS A GREAT FRIEND. SHE STARTED A LITTLE LADY BUG CLUB YEARS AGO NOT KNOWING THAT IT WOULD BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER TO LAUGH, LOVE EACH OTHER,AND TO LISTEN TO EACH OTHERS PROBLEMS. REST IN PEACE OLD FRIEND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.
