Ava Dearing, born on November 27, 1951, in the beautiful state of Maine, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, in Virginia Beach, VA. She was 74 years old.

Ava was a beloved mother and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Her enduring strength and unwavering compassion were hallmarks of her character, traits that will be dearly missed by her surviving children, extended family, and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Claude and Thelma Estabrook, whose love and guidance she carried with her throughout her life.

A woman of intelligence and dedication, Ava earned her Bachelor's Degree, an accomplishment she valued greatly and which reflected her commitment to lifelong learning.

The family will announce details of a memorial service to celebrate Ava’s life at a later date. They appreciate the outpouring of love and support from those who knew her and kindly request that any expressions of sympathy take the form of cherished memories and shared stories of her remarkable life.

Ava’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will forever be remembered with love and admiration.
