Barbara Ann Garner, 81, of Knotts Island, NC passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2023. Barbara is survived by her husband, Edward "Ed" Garner, daughters, Linda Heydn and Donna Garner, and son, Eddie Garner (Heather), brother, Billy Henley (Candy), as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Barbara was fierce, loyal, and loving. Thrifty, creative, tough, and stubborn in the best of ways, yet yielding and understanding in more meaningful ways. Those who loved Barbara will carry a bright light passed down from the true spark she left everywhere she went. A celebration of life will be held at a later date according to her wishes.
