Benjamin Joseph McGlinchy, Jr, better known as Bo, 56, died unexpectedly on September 11, 2024. He is survived by his mother, Pat McGlinchy; his son Ben McGlinchy; his brothers, Mike, Jeff, and Angus McNeil; his nephews, Ryan, Matthew, Will, and Craig McNeil; and his nieces, Kayla and Patty McNeil. Bo was predeceased by his father, Joe McGlinchy; his brother, Steve McGlinchy; and by sisters, Skippy and Kathy McNeil.

Bo was born in Virginia Beach on August 4, 1968. He came into this world with a smile on his face and was soon laughing and entertaining everyone in his path. Bo grew up roaming the Northend and the resort area. He enjoyed life and connected easily with friends up and down the Beach. After a serious illness in 2016, Bo had a difficult recovery that created challenges for his daily living, yet he remained upbeat and enjoyed time with both family and friends.
