Beverly Elise Meier passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 62.
She was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia; the youngest of 3 children.
Her father Warren was a decorated US Army Veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Her mother Beatrice notably worked as part of the Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This instilled a deep love for the USA; she was proud to be an American.
Beverly loved the beach and had wonderful memories of being raised at Fort Story, playing by the lighthouse. She was quick-witted with an amusing sense of humor. Generous to a fault, she loved hard; if she loved you, you knew it! Her cats were a beloved part of her family. A big music fan, Beverly loved Rod Stewart, Meatloaf, and Kid Rock.
She was a straight shooter- what you saw was what you got. She was loyal, honest, and hard-working. She kept her head held high throughout life’s trials. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Warren L. Brogren and Beatrice B. Brogren, and brother Robert G. Brogren.
She is survived by Neil Meier, her son Christopher (Nia) Pavona, and her brother Warren C. Brogren. Beverly also leaves behind nieces Samantha Brogren and Candace (Michael) Brogren Williams, as well as many loving friends.
In keeping with Beverly’s wishes, her family will spread her ashes privately.
