Williamsburg, VA - Bonny Sydney (Berg) Taylor, aged 78, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia. She was born on March 22, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Nathan and Mary Berg.

Bonny devoted many years of her professional life serving as a dedicated hospital secretary, where her commitment and kindness left a lasting impact on those she worked with. She proudly completed high school, which equipped her for her career and enriched her life in many ways.

A beloved mother, and grandmother, Bonny is survived by her cherished children, her daughter, Jessica Shepley, and her husband, Benjamin Shepley, her son, Nicolas Martinez, and his girlfriend, Amy Nelson, and treasured grandchildren, Makayla and Mason Shepley, her devoted sister, Beryl Stewart. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who remember her as a pillar of strength and love.

She loved to teach people how to cook, cooking and baking were her passions. She loved to travel, especially on cruise ships. She went to many places and loved her trip to Jamaica with her sister. She loved to watch tv, movies and reading. Bonny was always a hard worker in the medical field. She loved eating out, and shopping, those were always things she enjoyed. Overall, she always tried to take care of her children and grandchildren the best she could and she always tried to help her family as much as possible.
