Obituary For Brett Conley Askew

Norfolk- Brett Conley Askew, 62, passed away peacefully in his home on June 1st 2021. A native of Norfolk,VA the son of James William Askew and the late Jacqueline Callison.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan Askew; daughters Alanna Askew (Keith) and Allison Askew; his sisters Brenda Grigg and Anna Knight (Jeff) and his brothers James Askew (Debbie) and Kevin Askew (Jeane). As well as many nieces and nephews.

Brett was employed by General Dynamics. Brett was a devoted husband and father. Brett enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitars, fishing, and range shooting. He spent most of his time with family, friends, and his four legged children.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

    To his wife Susan, you know how much Brett meant to me... to his children, your Dad was my friend when I was young and had just lost my mother . It was a rough time and your Dad was always there for me. One of the coolest people I ever knew .
