Obituary For Carlos Mosley Lacerna

Carlos Mosley Lacerna, 50, a resident of Isle of Wight County. He passed away in hospice care at Northern Cardinal Rehabilitation and Nursing in Suffolk, VA with his wife Nicole by his side. Carlos was born on May 14, 1972 in Portsmouth, VA. He was the eldest Son of Bienvenido (Beny) Vergara Lacerna and Bessie Mosley Lacerna. Carlos Was preceded in death by his brother Mariano “Manny” Mosley Lacerna. Surviving is his wife Nicole Hartman Lacerna, his stepsons Taylor and Morgan Haislip, four grandchildren which he adored, Cartison, Anthony, Rayden and Savannah Haislip, his mother Bessie Lacerna and sister Marie Lacerna both of Phoenix, AZ; his father and stepmother “Beny” and Mercedita Lacerna, brother Arnel Lacerna of Chesapeake, VA; sister-in-law Vangie Ursua Lacerna, and niece Arianna Lacerna, and many aunts, uncles and cousins that he was very close to and loved. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday September 29,2022 at Freedom Church; 3133 Magic Hollow Blvd. Virginia Beach, VA with Pastor Jay. I would love and appreciate any friends or family wanting to share their love and memories of Carlos and the love and life he had to please share with us all as well. This is a celebration of Carlos, he didn’t ever want anyone to sit and cry for him, rather to celebrate him.
