Obituary For Carol Ann Ickes

Carol Ann Ickes, loving wife and friend, 63, of Williamsburg, went to be with her Savior on 4 May 2021.

Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, she built a career in the marketing and public relations field, starting two businesses and pursuing independent business consulting in between. She worked with several Fortune 500 companies but specialized in guiding small businesses toward success. She moved from the traditional printing industry to become an early adopter of desk-top publishing and using the Internet in business applications.

She loved antiquing, cooking, gardening, decorating, drawing, painting, and outings in nature with her beloved dog Sasha. She was also a fan of movies, especially those from the Golden Era of Hollywood and many foreign films. She served many years as a supernumerary in the Baltimore Opera Company, playing non-speaking roles in many shows.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, two brothers and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. A loving partner will be immeasurably missed and never forgotten.
