Virginia Beach, VA - Cynthia Marie (Jones) Griffin, a beloved resident of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on December 13, 1966, in Culpepper, VA, Cynthia was known for her warmth, kindness, and love of life.

Cynthia dedicated many years of her career as an Associate at Wal-Mart, where she was cherished by colleagues and customers alike for her friendly demeanor and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Cynthia's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, always cherishing moments together. She was happiest when enjoying the sun, whether by the poolside, at the ocean, or in the mountains where her laughter and spirit shone brightest.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her loving parents, Duane and Ruth (Minor) Jones. She leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories with her son, Brandon Fisher, her devoted life partner, Audra Anderson, and her dear friend and caregiver, Sandra Dunford. Cynthia will also be remembered by numerous other family members and friends who were touched by her kindness and sense of fun.
