Cynthia Michele Wilborne, 64, of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on June 5, 2026.

Born on December 24, 1961, in New York, Cynthia lived a life marked by quiet strength, resilience, and love for those closest to her. She will be remembered for her kind heart, enduring spirit, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of her family and friends.

Cynthia was the cherished daughter of Arron Leroy Wilborne and Lucy Jane Moore. Though they have gone before her, their love and guidance remained with her throughout her life.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Mercedes Jones, who was not only her caregiver and advocate but also a constant source of love and support. Cynthia's memory will continue to live on through Mercedes and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though words cannot fully capture the life of someone so deeply loved, Cynthia's legacy will be one of perseverance, compassion, and the bonds of family. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
