Obituary For Danny Morris Irby
Danny Irby was born July 19,1956 to the late Lee Homer and Ruthie Mae Irby. He departed this life on Dec. 11, 2025.
He accepted Christ into his life and was baptized before he departed this life. He served in the Navy for 6 years.
He was married to the late Mrs. Sharon V. Irby (Cowell) April 20,1982. They had three children: Russell Cowell of Norfolk, VA; Terrenct Cowell of Norfolk VA, and Lashanda Washington (Cowell) of Chesapeake VA; one son-in-law Sean Washington of Chesapeake, VA; daughter-in-law Dajai Briggs. He has nineteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Uncles, Aunties and his niece Frederica Brown. He is survived by his three sisters: Mary Irby-Redmond, Brenda Jackson, Devon Irby and two brothers Billy Irby and Lawerence Irby, and a host of nieces, nephews and family.
He was definitely one of a kind and will surely be missed by everyone who knew and grew to love him.
Simply Cremation is assisting the family.

Danny was one of a kind. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He had a special recipe for his Spaghetti. Everyone Loved it; and he most definitely Loved cooking on his many Grills. We Miss Danny....RIP.
