Mrs. Kippenbrock and family, I am very sorry to hear about David's death. He worked with my father, Barrett Richardson, many years at the Virginian-Pilot/Ledger-Star. My father considered David to be a fine journalist, and more importantly, a good man and a dear friend. May he rest in peace. With deep sympathy, Barrett Richardson
