Dave, along with his brother Don and I grew up together in the same neighborhood on 118 south of Van Wert. Our homes were only about 1/4 mile apart. We went all the way through grade school and high school together. Dave and I joined the Navy at the same time. Had many good and interesting times together. Was sorry to hear of his passing. Didn't know his family as I moved from Van Wert many years ago but wish to give them my sincere condolences for their loss. Rest in Peace my old friend.
