David Warren Sterner, born on February 21, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 68.

David dedicated his professional life to the shipbuilding industry, where his hard work and expertise were greatly respected. He was also proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Navy, a testament to his deep sense of duty and commitment.

He is preceded in death by his beloved spouse and his parents, whose memories he cherished throughout his life. David leaves behind a loving family, including his children, along with extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

The family wishes to announce that services to honor and celebrate David's life will be held at a later date. During this time of mourning, they extend their gratitude for all expressions of love and support.
