Debby was a cherished member of our little circle of ladies who gathered at the dog park for years. Together we shared laughter, stories of our everyday lives, and the simple joy of friendship. We celebrated birthdays together, marked holidays with each other, and built countless memories through the small but meaningful moments we shared. Debby will be dearly missed. Cathy, Holly, Gail

My heart felt condolences to the family. I will forever remember Debbie Newhart as a wonderful friend & coworker. I've known her for many decades. Our friendship started at the toll road on 44 in Virginia Beach. We've shared many laughs and heart felt tears. She was truly a wonderful person to know. I will forever treasure the memory of our friendship. I've always thought of her as a soldier on the battlefield. However, the Lord has called his sweet angel home. Thank you God for allowing me to be blessed with such a wonderful and beautiful friend. Linda Burton

I Ezra Jennings had the pleasure of working with and supervising Debbie for over 30yrs at VDOT and then ERC. She was a very funny, friendly and speak her mind kind of person. She loved working the night shift 10p-6a and was dedicated to the company. She will truly be missed. May God grant her, her wings and allow her to now fly with him in haven. May she R.I.P. Glenn Newhard
Our deepest sympathies to Paul and Mary Newhart and all the Wallace family. I have great memories of all our family trips to Chesapeake from Pennsylvania to see all our Grand pops, uncles, aunts and cousins. Our family of six, 4 boys would invade uncle Lenny and aunt Jean's house. Debbie was like the sister I never had. She was wonderful to be around, kind and funny. VA beach, crabbing, fishing and good time in backyard parties. It's true about Southern hospitality! I always wished we lived closer, but we stayed in touch with phone calls and texts (that always seems to be in the wee hrs. ). She always talked about her pets and critters. I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace and God bless Debbie. Cousin Glenn Newhard and Family.
