Delores Ann Evans, born on July 13, 1946, in Seattle, Washington, peacefully departed this world on March 15, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 79.

Delores was a dedicated and compassionate individual who devoted much of her professional life to serving as a family support worker within the field of education. Her commitment to helping others and improving lives was evident in all aspects of her work, leaving a lasting impact on those she assisted and collaborated with throughout her career.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Azzie Evans and Melvin Evans. Her memory will be cherished by her niece, Delicia Pitts, along with extended family members and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Services to honor and celebrate the life of Delores Ann Evans will be held at a later date.

She will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her work and the warmth she shared with those around her.
