Norfolk, VA - Deloris Elizabeth Edwards, born on March 24, 1927, in Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026, in Norfolk, VA. She was blessed with 99 years of life, during which she touched the hearts of many.

On February 19, 1949, Deloris married Edward C. Edwards, and together they shared 63 beautiful years of marriage until his passing. She was also predeceased by her beloved son, Ralph Eugene Edwards.

Deloris will be deeply missed by those who survive her, including her daughter Robin Cannon, her son Ed Edwards Jr of Dayton, OH, her sister Lillie Gray of Alexandria, VA, and many cherished nieces and nephews. Her love extended to her grandsons, Gordon Cannon of Seattle, WA, and Logan Cannon of Virginia Beach, VA, whom she dearly adored.

Deloris has gone to be with her Lord, our Father, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor her memory. Deloris' family requests memorial donations in her name may be made to The Dementia Society of America.
