Denise Bailey, born October 17, 1953, in Queens, New York, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 72.

Denise was a dedicated school custodian who worked tirelessly to provide a clean and safe environment for countless students and staff throughout her career. Her commitment to her work was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elijah and Ella Clemons. Denise leaves behind a loving family, including her cherished children, as well as extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Services for Denise will be held at a later date. The impact she had on those around her and her unwavering dedication to her family and community will always be remembered.
