Dennis Ricks was born to the late John Edward Ricks Jr. and Ernestine Hendricks Ricks on September 25, 1962, in Norfolk, Va. He worked for Convington Contracting (Virginia Beach, Va.) for over 25 years. He loved music,dancing, playing cards, wrestling, helping others, and most of all his family. On April 24,1999, Dennis married Angela Riggsbee Ricks (Ms. Angie). They cared for 5 children Kyana McDuffie, Shanea Riggsbee, Stephan Ricks, Johnathan Ricks and Angel Ricks.
