Obituary For Diane Marie Brewer
Virginia Beach, VA - Diane Marie Brewer, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born on September 1, 1951, in Burwell, Nebraska, and lived a full and meaningful life filled with love, laughter, hard work, and devotion to her family.
Diane was raised in Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, Nebraska. She later moved to Italy, where she welcomed her sons into the world. A daughter was added to the family after the move to Florida. It was after her move to Virginia Beach, Virginia, that she continued to build a life centered around the family she loved so dearly.
Diane was an exceptionally hardworking woman who was devoted to her family and always willing to support those she loved. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, independent nature, strong personality, and the endless laughter and joy she brought to the lives of those around her. She lived life on her own terms and left a warm and unforgettable impression on everyone she met.
Diane was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Vincent Joseph Bruha and Irene Evangeline Kosmicki and her sister, Sharon Kay Wallace.
Her memory lives on through her children, Kevin Eugene Brewer, Jason Allen Brewer Sr., and Trisha Lynn Brewer; her grandchildren, Jason Allen Brewer Jr., Mariah Lisette Brewer, Zacarie Oryan Brewer, Larissa Ryna Brewer, Jordan Alexandra Brewer, Madison Alyse Brewer, and Gennavieve Grace Brewer; and her surviving sisters, Pamela Jean Trew and Marcella Ann Lord. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Diane touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love for her family, her strength, her humor, and her vibrant spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she gave will live on through her family and friends.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be forever loved.
A private celebration of Diane’s life will be held by her family at a later date.
