Diane Parks, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 70. Born on August 18, 1955, in Lynchburg, Virginia, Diane was the cherished daughter of the late James and Claudette Mosley.

Diane dedicated her career to nurturing and caring for children through her work at the YMCA, where she made a lasting impact on many young lives. Her gentle spirit and kind heart were evident in all she did, leaving a legacy of love and compassion.

Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Maurice Parks, her children, and extended family and friends who will forever hold her memory dear. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Claudette Mosley.

As per the wishes of her family, services to honor Diane's life will be held at a later date. During this time, those who knew and loved Diane are invited to reflect on the joy and warmth she brought to their lives.
