Obituary For Eddie J Waterman

Eddie J. Waterman, a native of Norfolk, VA, born on April 7, 1947, departed this life on June 22, 2023 at his home in Virginia Beach. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, daughter, Angie and her husband Jay, and loving grandson, Jonathan and his wife Conner. Jonathan is forever grateful for memories filled with love and support, and unwavering encouragement. In lieu of flowers, please honor Ed's memory through a donation to the Virginia Beach SPCA.

    I grew up two doors down from Mr. Waterman. Walking home from the bus stop almost every afternoon, he was there with a joyous smile and a wave. He was such a kind soul. And a bright light in the community, and neighborhood. He used to clean off the entire section of our street, raking the pine needles and leaves in the fall, and cleaning out the gutters on the street. Life won't be the same, the gutters will never be as clean as when Mr. Waterman was here. He was a kind and generous man who could light up an entire room with his smile. I miss your smile and your joy. Rest in peace.♥
