Edna Mae Jernigan Adams, 90. of Chesapeake went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018.

Edna was born to John Baynes Jernigan, Sr. and Eula Bell Owens Jernigan on January 31, 1928. She graduated from Wilson High School and retired from the US Government.

Edna was predeceased by her parents, John Baynes Jernigan, and Eula Bell Owens Jernigan; sisters, Ruby and Evelyn; and brothers, John, Jr. and Ralph.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Connie; sons, Jason and Scott; daughter-in law, Diane, son-in-law, Ron; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Edna will be cremated and her ashes scattered in the mountains of Charlottesville, Virginia.
