Edward Charles Roehm, aged 78, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, in Virginia Beach, VA. following complications from a stroke. Born on November 14, 1946, in New York, he was the son of the late Perry R. Roehm and Jane Dignan Woodruff, living most of his life in Connecticut and spending the past 23 years on Virginia's Eastern Shore.

Edward dedicated his professional life to the finance industry, working as a Money Broker. He was a founding member of the Jessup Group and later the sole owner of the Woodruff Company. His career was marked by his integrity, diligence, and commitment to excellence.

Edward attended Fairfield Country Day School, the Wooster School and earned a Bachelor's degree in business from Syracuse University. He was an accomplished athlete and excelled in baseball, tennis, skiing, paddle tennis and golf. He also enjoyed car racing.

He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn and daughters Rebecca Vaught (Jake) and children Lyla and Charles; daughter Anne (Mary Claire) and son Tyler; sister Susan Roehm Pell along with extended family. He is pre-deseased by his brother Douglas.

Services for Edward will be held at a private family gathering on Nantucket. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family.
