Virginia Beach, VA - Edward Lamont Hurley, born on May 15, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 69.

Edward dedicated his life to serving his country and continued his commitment through a distinguished career. He first served honorably in the United States Navy, where he exemplified dedication and duty. Following his time in the service, Edward transitioned to a civilian role at the Department of Defense, where he retired after many years of committed service.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward and Betty (Meyers) Hurley. Edward leaves behind his devoted wife, Risda Hurley, along with other cherished family and friends who will remember him for his warmth, integrity, and steadfast loyalty.
