Edward Payson Shiverick, 84, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2026.

Born on May 11, 1942, in New York, Edward lived a life defined by hard work, integrity, and devotion to those he loved. He built a successful career as a stock broker in the wealth management industry, where his steady guidance, professionalism, and commitment earned the trust and respect of clients and colleagues alike.

Edward was a man who appreciated the simple pleasures of life and the comfort of home. Following the passing of his beloved wife, Jane Shiverick, he continued to carry her memory with him each day. His quiet strength, thoughtful nature, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Shiverick; his father, John Shiverick; and his mother, Elizabeth Lally.

Edward leaves behind his children, Edward, John and Tammy, along with extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory and the example of a life lived with grace and dignity.

A celebration of Edward's life will be held at a later date.
