  Pastor Eleanor was such a a special lady. She was always kind and supportive to everyone. She was a blessing to us, and even kind and good to her ex-husband. Most people are not that loving towards an ex spouse.

  I thank God for allowing me to meet Elinor Dalton in August 2013. Elinor accepted my invitation to participate in a racial reconciliation event where she demonstrated her heart for unity. Elinor had great wit and a great sense of humor, which she used when she preached. Elinor also accepted my invitation to minister to the women of Chesterfield Detention and Diversion Center on many Sunday evenings. Rev. Elinor Dalton participated in many funerals and would say many times about the departed, "They left this world a better place than when they found it." This is exactly what can be said about Elinor Dalton.
