Evelyn Danico, born on November 7, 1956, in Germany, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 11, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 69. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

Evelyn's life was rich with love and family. She was married to her devoted husband, James Lamont Danico Sr., with whom she shared 39 wonderful years. Her nurturing spirit was evident in her love for taking care of plants, a hobby that brought beauty and tranquility into her home. Evelyn cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories filled with warmth and joy. She also found great enjoyment in the thrill of rafting and the quiet satisfaction of putting together puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her father, Stanley Lenard, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms. Evelyn is survived by her loving mother, Irene Lenard, her brother, Mark Lenard, her devoted husband, James, and her precious Yorkie, Prissy.

A woman of intellect and curiosity, Evelyn pursued higher education and obtained her Bachelor's degree, a testament to her dedication and passion for learning.

Services to honor the life of Evelyn Danico will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her memory.

Evelyn will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
