Obituary For Fred Dolan
Fred Dolan, aged 80, passed away on October 23, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia. Born on October 5, 1946, in Pennsylvania.
Fred was a dedicated professional, serving as Safety Director at Eastern State Hospital. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran and held an Associate's Degree.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Dorothy Dolan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Dolan, their children, as well as extended family and friends who will dearly miss him.
Services for Fred Dolan will be held at a later date. Further details will be shared with family and friends in due course.
Simply Cremation is assisting the family.

My thoughts and prayers to Fred's family during this difficult time. May your memories of him surround you in comfort, joy and laughter. I worked with Fred at ESH for years! He was an expert in his field and provided his knowledge and support to ensure compliance. Fred was a friend to everyone and always had a joke or story to share especially when you needed it. Fred often talked fondly about his family and it was obvious how proud he was of you all and much he loved you. We all missed him dearly when he retired because we knew we could always count on Fred! I wish to send my sincerest condolences to Fred's family. My heart reaches out to all of you. He was such fun to spend time with when we were young cousins. And I know he treasured his dear family. He will be missed. Love and thoughts to you all.
