Gary Skinner, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, in Virginia Beach, VA. Born on February 7, 1942, in South Dakota, he lived a life marked by dedication and service.

Gary had an esteemed career, proudly serving his country as a member of the United States Navy, from which he retired with honor. He also pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor's degree, illustrating his commitment to both duty and knowledge.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Orrin and Marie Skinner. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Lieng Thanh Skinner, as well as his children, extended family, and friends, all of whom will remember him fondly and miss him dearly.

Services to honor Gary's life will be held at a later date. His family appreciates the support and condolences received during this difficult time.
