  My heart and prayers go out to Gloria and Alan. My husband and Gerald were buddies in the army in Germany. We lived in a small town there. Our son was born 3 days after Geralds birthday. Gloria and Gerald were so helpful and good to us during that time. We remained friends all these years. Gerald will be so missed. My husband passed away 2 days after Gerald. The two of them are in my mind everyday along with all the memories we shared together. Be at peace All my love

  Gerald was a very caring man that I knew from his Smithfield Golf course. I will always remember just stopping by his office there just to talk. He was never too busy to spend that time with me as well as on the golf course. He will be very much missed!

  Gerald was a great friend and I will always hold many fond memories of my time spent with Gerald, Gloria, Alan and everyone at Smithfield Downs Gold Course during my time coaching and teaching at Smithfield HS (1996-2002). Sandy, Summer, Bryce and I sent our heartfelt condolences to Gloria and Allan. We will miss Gerald!
