Virginia Beach- Gerald E. Lanum (Jerry), born March 26, 1935 in Covington Va, passed away November 25, 2021. He served in the US Army, 82nd Airborne Division, from 1953-1956 and was the former owner of Air Specialty Corp. in Va. Beach for over 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Lanum, two daughters, Sherree Lanum Weeks and her husband Jack Weeks, Jeri Jo Lanum and her husband Eddie Ottaway. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Kirby Weeks of Florida, Kathryn Weeks of Tennessee and his brother Larry Lanum and sister Lawanda Fitzgerald. The service and burial will be private. Donations may be made to the Boys Home of Virginia in Covington Va. 24426.
