Gerald Joseph Corriveau Sr., 98, of Chesapeake Virginia, passed away on August 10, 2023 after a long full life.
A huge New York Yankees fan, Gerald watched Yankees games until the end.
Gerald was born on September 22, 1924 to Abel & Eva (Lagasse) Corriveau in Van Buren Maine.
After Gerald graduated high school, he served in WW2 in Burma. He returned to the states and moved to Hartford Connecticut.
Gerald met his wife May and married in 1949. They went on to have three children, Gerald Jr., Mark and Gary.
Gerald is predeceased by his Wife May, his son Gerald Jr., his sisters Roberta Morris and Joyce Blesso.
He is survived by his son Mark Corriveau and wife Jeannine, son Gary Corriveau and wife Cheryl, grandchildren Josh Corriveau, Mandie Corriveau,
Justin Corriveau and wife Brandi and Kyle Corriveau and wife Emily. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Jordyn Corriveau, Jackson Davis, Ellie Corriveau and Abigail Corriveau.

A private service will be held in Connecticut in September.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gerald's
name to The New York Yankees Universe Fund.
They support pediatric cancer care and research at Sloan Kettering Hospital.
