Newport News, VA - Gloria Lorraine (Irvine) Sapp, aged 86, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, in Hampton, Virginia. Born on May 18, 1940, in Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of the late Francis and Inger "Elizabeth" (Thue) Irvine.

Throughout her life, Gloria dedicated herself to many occupations, including work in food service at various restaurants. Her most recent position was in customer service at Walgreens, where she was known for her kindness and dedication to assisting others.

Gloria was a resident of Newport News, Virginia, at the time of her passing. She is preceded in death by her loving husband and her cherished parents. She leaves behind her devoted children, two sons, Gerald Sapp II and Thomas Sapp, and her two daughters, Nancy Bennet and Peggy Brocket, as well as many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
