Obituary For Horace Earl Van Austin

Horace Earl Van Austin, 88, of Onondaga Road passed away December 9, 2015, in a Va. Beach hospital.

A native of Norfolk, VA, Horace was the son of Oscar and Nellie Van Austin and the beloved husband for 52 years of Katherine Jane Van Austin.

Horace is survived by three daughters, Edith Elaine Van Austin of Va. Beach, Nellie Marie Dillistin and husband Gary R. of Pine Top, AZ, and Cynthia Leigh Blizzard and husband Windy of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Latisha A. Felix, Joshua R. Blizzard and Jacob B. Blizzard; and four great-grandchildren, Anthony R. Felix, Arianna M. Felix, Dominic J. Felix and Dylan R. Blizzard.

The funeral will be held on Jan. 8, 2016 at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA at 10:00 am where both Horace and his beloved late wife Katherine will be laid to rest together. Friends are invited to sign the online guest book at www.simplycremationonline.com.
