James Jerome Hardy, aged 45, passed away on December 11, 2024, in Newport News, VA. Born in Hampton, VA, on November 3, 1979, James was a man whose dedication and work ethic shone through in every endeavor he embarked upon. His life was a testament to the power of hard work and the unwavering commitment to those he loved most—his family.
Throughout his life, James worked diligently in various roles within restaurants and cleaning services, always striving to provide for his family and ensure their happiness and well-being. His career path might not have brought him public accolades, but it was marked by the silent, steadfast drive to support and nurture his loved ones, a true testament to his character.
James's primary focus in life was his family. He leaves behind his cherished significant other, Marie Jones, and his beloved children, Jayden and Jamari Hardy. His siblings, Abraham Hardy, Tone Lo, and Chrissy Hardy, along with his mother, Donna Moore, his aunt, Wanda Moore, and his godbrother, Joshua Ford, survive him and remember him with love and admiration.
Preceded in death by his father, Maceo Hardy, and grandmother, Margaret Moore, James is now reunited with them in peace. His legacy lives on through his surviving family, who will forever hold dear the memories of a devoted father, partner, son, brother, and friend.

James Hardy aka Buddy, is a man I have known forever, we share a wonderful 20 year old son who look's act and dress just like him. I just wanna say R.I.H and even though you're gone you'll certainly be missed and never forgotten, Continue looking down on ALL your beautiful children who wasn't mentioned in your obituary but love's you very much. R.I.P my friend.
