Obituary For James Patrick Drew
Chesapeake, VA
James Patrick Drew, 54, beloved son of Mary Casey Drew, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014.
James was a retired Merchant Seaman. He was predeceased by his father, L.F. Drew and brother, William F. Drew.
Survivors include his mother, Mary F. Drew; brothers, Gary K. Drew, Thomas F. Drew, John W. Riddel; sister, Maria R. Sullivan.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service this Saturday, October 11, 2014 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery Chapel located at 3000 Church St., Norfolk.

I had the privilege of visiting James while he was in the hospital on a few occasions through the Prince of Peace Catholic Church pastoral care ministry. He touched me with his honesty and resignation in regards to his health and future. He was always happy to visit with me and pray together. He was one of the patients that left me feeling like I was the one who was ministered to instead of the other way around. I pray he is looking into the loving eyes of Jesus right now and feeling perfect peace. My sincerest condolences to your family.
