Janet Joan Lacy of Machipongo, Virginia was born on August 18, 1933 in Connecticut and passed away peacefully in Virginia on July 5, 2025, at the age of 91. Janet was a beloved daughter to George and Rose Jamieson, who predeceased her.

She shared many cherished years with her husband, William H. Lacy, who also preceded her in death. Janet lived a full life, marked by her steadfast dedication to her family and friends.

Though she has left us, her memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her grace and warmth touched many lives, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services to honor and celebrate Janet's life will be held at a later date. May she rest in eternal peace.
