Obituary For Jason Matthew Ellington
Jason Matthew Ellington, age 53, of Chesapeake, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, in Newport News, Virginia. He was born on December 5, 1971, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
He was a devoted son and a beloved friend to those who knew him. Jason's warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone he met, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Jason is survived by his parents, Deborah and James Ellington, his brother Jeff Ellington, his sister Jennifer E. Leary, and his three children Raven Haines, Treavor Ellington, and Gracie Ellington. They, along with all who loved him, will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
A private service to honor Jason’s life will be held at a later date. His family appreciates the support and condolences from friends and the community during this difficult time.
Simply Cremation is assisting Jason’s family with the arrangements.
