Chesapeake, VA - Jed Allen Jarrett, a resident of Chesapeake, VA, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on October 11, 1954, in Bradford, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Forrest Jarrett and Jean (Hopkins).

Jed honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy for six years. Following his service, he dedicated his career to the ship repair industry, where he worked diligently as a Quality Assurance Supervisor. His commitment to excellence and steadfast work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Jed was a high school graduate who carried the values of integrity and dedication throughout his life. He will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol S. (Nicholson) Jarrett, his children, as well as many cherished family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Jed was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Jean Jarrett.
