Jeffrey Lynn Miller, 67, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2026, at his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Jeff was born on February 12, 1959, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and was a proud member of the Hempfield High School Class of 1977. Throughout his life he worked in the restaurant industry across the country, a field that suited him well. He loved bringing people together through food and conversation, and he took great joy in feeding friends and family whenever he had the chance.

Jeff was known as a true free spirit. He had an easy smile, a contagious laugh, and a way of making people feel welcome wherever he went. He enjoyed attending concerts, spending time fishing, and sharing good meals with the people he loved most.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie King and her husband Jake; his beloved granddaughters, Mariah Ireland, Kiley Ireland, Scarlett King, and Violet King; his former wife, Michelle Albright Miller; his father, Ronald A. Miller and stepmother Patricia Miller; and his mother, Joanne Hanna Hasnauer and stepfather Ronald Hasnauer.

He is also survived by his siblings Tim Miller and wife Kristin, Lisa Evangelist and husband Mike, Vicki Egleston and partner Corey Riddell, Debbie Reeser and husband George, Kim Shealey and husband Doug, R.J. Hasnauer and wife Michelle, Dawn Rossi, Annette Reiff and husband Eddie, Sammy Rossi and wife Jen, and Anthony Smith, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jeff will be remembered for his laughter, his generous spirit, and the joy he found in bringing people together. He will also be fondly remembered by his many lifelong friends, as well as the friends he made in the Virginia Beach area and throughout the country during his years in the restaurant industry and travels.

A private service will be held for the immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Trinity Methodist Church in Greensburg, Pennsylvania where friends and loved ones are welcome to gather to honor and remember Jeff.

Though he is gone far too soon, his laughter, kindness, and free spirit will live on in the memories and stories shared by those who loved him.
