In addition to her parents, Jenna is also survived by her brothers Shawn Burnette, Matthew Lacey, and Jeremy Altsman, as well as her best friend, Ashley Deal, and a multitude of family members and friends too numerous to name but cherished deeply.
Jenna's academic journey was marked by dedication and passion. She attended Beaver Falls High School before earning a scholarship to study Actuarial Science at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. Later, she transferred to Tidewater Community College, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Management. Throughout her career, Jenna exemplified hard work and determination. From her early days as a server at renowned restaurants in Virginia Beach to her role as a Member Service Representative at Navy Federal Credit Union, Jenna's professionalism and dedication shone brightly. Her colleagues and clients alike were touched by her warmth and expertise, as she also earned a Virginia insurance license and also was a licensed notary public in PA.
In her youth, Jenna found joy in sports, particularly basketball, volleyball, and softball. A talented softball pitcher and formidable hitter, Jenna's athletic prowess was matched only by her passion for the game. Her vibrant personality and unmistakable green eyes illuminated every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on all she encountered.
Jenna was a natural leader, guided by her kind soul and unwavering spirit. She was never afraid to speak her mind, always advocating for what she believed in. Her boundless energy and zest for life were evident to all who knew her, as she embraced each day with enthusiasm and determination. Above all, Jenna's greatest love and pride were her children, whom she adored with all her heart.
Per Jenna's wishes, there will be no viewing or service. A private celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 15, at the home of her cousin Abby and Nick in Chesapeake, attended by close family and friends. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations towards the future college funds for her children can be made through Venmo @JennaAltsmanMemorialFund.
