Jim Harrell, born on September 15, 1942, in North Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 83.

Jim was a dedicated and respected Manager at the Bertie County ABC Board. His commitment and diligence marked his professional life, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to work alongside him.

A proud veteran, Jim served his nation with honor as a member of the National Guard. He carried the values of service and duty throughout his life, touching the lives of many with his unwavering integrity and steadfast character.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Harrell, and his parents, James and Margaret Harrell. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his children, extended family, and friends who mourn his passing and celebrate his life.

Services for Jim will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather in remembrance and honor of his memory. His presence will be dearly missed, but the impact of his life will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
